The Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) program is designed to capture Medicare payment information that is issued electronically each week. The Electronic Remittance Advice Screen allows you to check off the paper checks received and posted each day against those that have been submitted. Information about checks received for each date is then used to update the patient’s ledger and the daysheet for the posting date.
