From the Patient Search Screen you may add a new patient, change the patient information for an existing patient, remove a patient record, or you may go to the Posting or Ledger Screen for that patient.

Adding a new patient's information is very easy with the AMPM system. The Patient Information Screen, shown below, captures all of the patient information that is required on insurance claim forms, as well as information you need for your practice.

From the Patient Information Screen, you may go to other screens that let you enter insurance information, additional patient information, and medical history.

For optometric practices, you may also enter eyecare information for your patients, described under Eyecare Features.

From the main screen, the Patient button will take you to the Patient Search Screen, shown below. You may also access the Patient Search by pressing the F1 (Help) key from the Patient Name field on any of the other AMPM system screens, including Posting, Ledger, and Payments.
